Saturday was my first kayaking experience. I loved it and can't wait to go back. The staff at Okatoma Canoe and Kayak Rental were friendly and helpful. The Outpost was beautiful. It was decorated with antiques and hand crafted woodwork. I highly recommend!
Very fun, had a great time! The staff was awesome and went above and beyond to help. The only problem we had was the very ending. They should have someone at the last waterfall lifeguarding, our canoe flipped and hit my face on the rocks and nearly drowned. That is to dangerous not to have someone there.
We went as a hale and farewell and we had.. a.. blast! Some moments if you wish to have back again for a day...that day was one of them. We stroked the 7mi i think and it was so awesome! Staff was mad cool and professional!
They don't consider the safety of their customers. They will put anyone in the water for a few dollars regardless of the water levels. And when their customers need help (while in danger) being able to get out of the water, they stand on the shore watching local campers help. Never, never use this company. Use Seminary Canoe Rental instead.
